The Space
THE HOUSE:
This beautiful, casual, historic house is the oldest and best example of the Craftsman style of architecture found in the village of Seaside on the Monterey Peninsula. Built in 1910 by the Phelps family and located on a half-acre property, surrounded by organic gardens with private, gated parking, this property has views of Monterey Bay. Seaside is considered to be the sunniest place on the Bay.
AVAILABLE :
Small, bright yet cozy room with shared bath in private home, single bed with organic sheets, (although this is a very small room it is one of our most popular). It has a 15 square foot closet, hardwood floors with natural fiber area rug, desk, wireless internet, spa bath robe provided. Bath towels and Dr. Bronners soap provided as well but you will want to bring your own shampoo and toiletries. Continental breakfast featuring an organic and/or natural selection. Access to washer/dryer/iron.
Rooms are cleaned with environmentally friendly products.
Minutes from all the great tourist attractions, Fairgrounds, Race Track, Beaches museums, restaurants, cafes, grocery and drug stores.
THE AREA:
Come and enjoy all that Monterey Bay has to offer from Santa Cruz to Big Sur:
The Monterey Bay Aquarium, historic Cannery Row, whale watching, wine tasting in Carmel Valley, fishing, cycling or a stroll along one of the many beaches. We are located less than a mile from Del Monte Beach where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea lions, otters and various ocean birds of this protected marine sanctuary. We are also minutes from the Laguna Seca Race Track, the Monterey Fairgrounds (Jazz festival, Blues Festival!) and of course, if golf is your pleasure, Monterey Bay is the place to come!

*Note, this is a private home, no smoking, 18 yrs of age and older please. We do have 2 small hypoallergenic dogs.
